Your first ten minutes with import

No need to memorize everything. Just watch one video and see how it feels.

import is a video course that teaches English words through 3D video and sound instead of text. Use your first ten minutes to get comfortable, not to memorize.
1. Open the course from the link in your email
After you buy, an access link to the course arrives at the email address you entered. Open the link and you can start watching right away.
If you can't find the email, check your spam and promotions folders. If it still isn't there, contact us and we will check your order and send it again.
2. Start with Essential Verbs
Of the three courses, we recommend starting with Essential Verbs (400 phrasal verbs). Everyday expressions like get up and take off each get their own short video.
The guide on choosing a pack explains how the courses differ.
3. Turn the sound on and watch three videos
At first, don't try to remember the meanings. Just watching is enough. When you take in video and sound together, you get more cues for recall than from reading text alone. Earphones help the pronunciation stick too.
Once you are used to it, try saying the words out loud along with the video. Little by little, English will start coming out of your mouth.
4. Make it easy to open again tomorrow
The trick to keeping it up is touching it a little every day, not doing it for a long time.
- Put the course page on your phone's home screen
- Download videos before your commute (they play offline)
- Aim for about ten minutes a day
Don't worry if you forget. When you meet the word again, that becomes your second memory of it.
